Aging on its lees has given this wine from a 39-acre family estate extra richness. A strong texture and lemon-zest flavors contrast with ripe green-plum fruits. Drink the wine from 2020.
Chateau Favray was founded in 1981 when Quentin David inherited some family farmland within the Appellation area of Pouilly Sur Loire, and immediately converted it to accommodate vineyards. Today he has 15 acres in production with the potential of developing a further 50 in the coming years. His wine is recognised as being a fine example of Pouilly-Fumé evidenced by a litany of awards in recent years.
